One of the greatest features of the Hammonton Arts Center is its diversity. It offers members a choice of exhibits to showcase their work, a choice of classes and workshops to hone their skills, a choice of members groups to participate in, and a choice of social activities in the evenings. The members themselves are a diverse group made up of beginning, intermediate and professional artists of every ethnic and economic background. One of the biggest rewards of being a member of the HAC is the diversity it provides.

HAC exists because of the support and dedication of dozens of fantastic volunteers. Volunteers "sit the gallery," one of the most essential volunteer positions. Training is availalbe, and hours can be arranged to accomodate busy schedules. This is a great way for artists and appreciators to support the gallery.
Volunteers prepare for monthly exibits, helping to hang new shows on the first Sunday of each month. This has become a great way for new members to become acquainted with us and to share an interesting and sometimes challenging "art experiences".
HAC offers opportunities for everyone, not only artists, to contribute as a volunteer. What are your skills and talents? Why not share them to build this creative community...
HAC is always looking for talented, inspired artists with a desire to share their knowledge and experience. Contact the Arts Center if you would like to share your talent by teaching a workshop, class or speaking at a members meeting.
As a member of the Hammonton Arts Center you can participate in the Social Groups that have formed among the members.
The Arts Cafe is a group of artists who meet on the first and third Thursdays of the month at 10 AM, to enjoy conversations about art and offer support to each other.
The Focal Point is a group that meets on the third Monday of each month at 7 PM and members share their interests in photography. They plan photo outings and special photo events.
The Open Studio is a group of artists who meet on the second and fourth Thursdays of the month from10 AM to 12 PM, to paint with their favorite medium in the selected themes and discuss their works together. This is not a class but you can meet the local artists.
