Classes at HAC 

Classes at The Hammonton Arts Center are held through out the year in a variety of disciplines. 

All classes are for 6 weeks and registration and payment are required one week prior to the start of the class.  

No refunds after the first class.

Early Spring Classes and Workshops:

MONDAY

Drawing, Painting & More For  Children 6 Yrs & Up

Instructor: Annette Rinker 856-768-0954  Mondays, 4 to 5:30 PM

Children Under 12 $80 , over 12 yrs.: Members $90, Non Members $95    

. *Supply Fee $5

Students are introduced to different art techniques and media. A fun way to learn real art. Annette is an artist educator who teaches in area public schools. Classes are ongoing in The Loft Classroom

 

TUESDA Y

AFTER SCHOOL DRAWING & CARTOONING

Members $90 Non Members $95

Students will learn drawing and painting through basic drawing & cartooning techniques. 6-week sessions start Mar. 16, 2010. *Materials Fee $6.

 

DRAWING FOR ADULTS & TEENS BEGINNERS & ADVANCED

This is a course for beginning or intermediate artists. Students will learn to draw using basic shapes, perspective and shading. Materials list will be available at first class. 6 week sessions start March 16, 2010

 

DRAWING REAL LIFE ANIMALS FOR AGES 10 & UP

Weeks 1 through 6- Learn how to draw animals using graphite pencils. Weeks 7 to 10 - Add colored pencils to what you have learned previously to get realistic fur tones. Supplies are included, 10% discount if you bring your own supplies. List is available.6 week sessions start .March 16, 2010

 

WEDNESDAY

EXPLORING Art in the afternoon

Drawing, pastels and crafts for children 10 yrs & older, teens and adults. Projects geared for learning cultural aspects as well as techniques. Home schooled students will meet core curriculum standards as required by the State of N.J. 6 week sessions start Mar. 17, 2010 

 

JEWELRY DESIGN for adults & teens

Learn the fundamentals to creating your own jewelry. Patterns, findings, tools and techniques will be explored. Suggested supply list and suppliers. 6 week sessions start Mar. 17, 2010

 

Learn the Fundamentals Of Stained Glass

WATERCOLOR PAINTING FOR ADULTS & TEENS
