Rules for Entry
Open to all artists and media. (Unless otherwise specified).
Artwork must be original (by the artist) and completed within the last 5 Years.
Artwork cannot previously have won a 1st or 2nd Place Award at HAC.
Maximum of 4 entries (space permitting).
All entries must be for sale.
All work must be the original work. Prints of original work (such as giclee are not permitted).
Digital Art/Photography – Photography and digital works.
Pigment – Oil, Acrylic, Watercolor, Pastel, Pen, Pencil, Ink, Crayon – any pigmented medium.
Misc. – 3D, sculpture, ceramics, bas-relief, carvings, less common mediums not on paper or canvas.
If there are less than 5 works submitted in any category, it will be merged with one of the other two categories. There must be a minimum of 5 works in a category to be individually judged.
All work must be properly framed and ready to hang with properly attached wires or if light (such as mounted on gator board) command strips.
Saw tooth hangers are not permitted.
All works on paper (pastel, pen & ink, photography, etc.) unless mounted must be properly framed.
All mats must be professionally presented.
We reserve the right to deny any works not complying with these instructions or which we feel will not be able to hang properly.
Member: One entry $10. Two Entries $18. Three Entries $25. Four Entries $30.
Non-Member: One entry $12. Two Entries $22. Three Entries $32. Four Entries $40.
Student Member (with a student ID) $5. each
All work must be hand delivered to the Hammonton Arts Center the week before the show is hung, during normal hours of operation. Our normal hours are 1pm to 5pm Tuesday to Friday, (currently we are closing at 4:45 PM on Friday) and 11am to 4pm on Saturday.
The week of drop off we will also be open on Sunday 1pm to 4pm.
You should call the center at 609-567-5360 to confirm someone is available to accept your entry.
If you cannot drop off during our normal hours, please contact us and we will attempt to accommodate your schedule.
The week following tear down (and drop off for the next exhibit) during our normal hours.
There is a $2.00 per day storage free for works not picked up within two weeks of the show closing. Work unclaimed after 30 days will be considered abandoned and will become the property of the center and dealt with accordingly. If you have a problem and your work will not be picked up promptly, please contact the center at 609-567-5360 and let us know so appropriate arrangements can be made.
1st Place each Category – Ribbon and $50 (one first place will also be listed as best of show and receive an additional $25 award and Best of Show Ribbon or Certificate)
2nd Place each Category – Ribbon and TBD
3rd Place Each Category – Ribbon and TBD
Honorable Mentions – Ribbon
Judges Fee - $75
