The Hammonton Arts Center offers great, unique and exciting birthday parties on Saturday and Sunday afternoons for kids ages 7 and up!
The Birthday Party Package Includes:
Invitations produced by HAC - themed with information on what kind of fun is in
store for party-goers!
Cost for HAC Members - $150,
Non Members - $200 - this includes a family membership to HAC (a $50
value!) and will include art materials for the birthday boy or girl and up to 9
guests.
Additional guest are $25 each, up to 15 guests.
One half paid as a deposit to secure date.
The balance is to be paid one week before event by check or credit card.
There will be a $50 administrative cost if canceled.
Number of guests: 10 children with 2 chaperones.
Each additional guest is $25.
Maximum is 15 children.
An additional chaperone is required for each 5 guests.
(1 to 5 guests, 1 chaperone, 6 to 10 guests, 2 chaperones and 11 to 15 guests, 3
chaperones)
Invitations will be supplied by the HAC to set the tone and theme of the
party.
Contact the HAC at 609-457-7601 four to five weeks ahead to secure date.
Choose from great Party themes and Art/Craft Projects: Cost is included for
one project.
All refreshments will be provided by Host/Parent including paper products, set up and clean up of food tables. We have a refrigerator/freezer to hold cold food until serving.
The party is being held in an art gallery where there are delicate and
breakable objects.
It is the responsibility of the parent/host to see that the behavior of the
children does not compromise the gallery or any art work on exhibit. Disruptive
children will be asked to be picked up by their parent before the end of the
party.
No confetti, glitter or piñatas allowed. No party decorations will be attached to walls, shelves or displays. Table decorations are encouraged. Non helium balloons allowed for table decoration only.
A music player (stereo system) may be brought in but must be kept to a level of back ground music only, no loud blaring. No noisemakers are allowed in the center.
Please let us know if any guests have special needs and we will make every effort to make their visit to the HAC as fun and comfortable as possible.
CHOOSE FROM ONE OF THESE ACTIVITIES TO SET THE THEME OF YOUR PARTY
A Princess Gathering: Make tiaras, crowns and necklaces to wear for the party
Pirate: Make headgear, eye patches and treasure maps to bring home.
Take My Photo: Photos will be taken of each guest, who will then create and decorate a frame to hold their photos. A wonderful remembrance of the day!
I Am An Artist: Paint a still life using oil pastels, watercolor or colored pencil. Or paint a landscape using photographs as your inspiration.
Garden Party: Make paper flowers in a vase. Or do rubbings of real leaves and other naturals for abstract art.
Masquerade: Create a unique and elaborate mask from cardboard, paint, beads, feathers and a lot of imagination to wear at the party.
Under the Sea: Paint your own idea of an under the sea picture, then decorate it with colorful 3 D fish, shells, pearls, etc.
Fashion Show: Kids will create a paper mannequin, then using their own imagination and fashion chic, create a wardrobe for their model using fabric, papers and trims. The event will conclude with a fashion show.
For older children 10 years and up, the 1 ½ hours can be spent watching a short presentation on the work of their favorite artist, then creating the artist’s style. ie: Monet, Warhol, Calder, Picasso, etc. in whatever medium they choose.
