Susan Lazarchick

Susan Lazarchick is a life-long resident of Atlantic County and lives in Weymouth on the Great Egg Harbor River with her husband Michael and her beloved Labrador Retrievers.
 
Over the years, she has worked with photography, ceramics, and painting.

She has studied art at Stockton College, the Cape May Photographic Workshops, Atlantic Cape Community College, Rowan University, The Clay Studio,  the University of the Arts and most recently at the Clay College in Millville, NJ.  

Her favorite subjects include nature, young children, and dogs.  She has won several awards for her work.

Death Into Life

Susan has struggled for years with issues with her right knee.  Following several surgeries, she finally lost her leg in November 2006 due to an infection.  She is working to find her place in the world as an above knee amputee.   

Finding joy in nature and expression through creativity continues to play an important part of her life and healing.
